On Thursday, July 15, family and friends gathered together at Highland Stables to kick-off the first day of ticket sales for this year’s events in memory of Brittney Gorman Parrish. Birdies for Brittney was created by her father, Doug Gorman, in an effort to work together with others to raise funds for scholarships for high school seniors who plan on attending Western Kentucky University as well as give back to charities in our community that Brittney was passionate about. Pinnacle Financial Partners, Murphy Construction Group and Staybridge Suites Bowling Green are the presenting and title sponsors of the event this year.

In 2021, Music and Memories for Brittney and Birdies for Brittney will be held on Sunday, September 12 and Monday, September 13. For more information on how to get tickets or register your team, visit the Birdies for Brittney Facebook page. This year, the charity partner of the event is the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center.
