Derby Party

Story and photography by Chase Wettstein

Bowling Green Country Club saw colorful outfits and crazy hats on Derby Day this year, with members from around the community stopping by to take part in the festivities. Not only was a DJ present and ready to jam, but the club came prepared with an outside covered area, making enjoying the derby a breeze despite the downpour. Everyone came dressed up in their most colorful and poppy outfits - complete with horse-themed bow-ties and horseshoe earrings - bringing even more pizzazz to an already eventful derby.
