30th Annual Boys and Girls Club Golf Classic

Story and photography by Megan Estep

Houchens Industries, Inc. presented the 30th Annual Boys and Girls Club Golf Classic at Indian Hills Country Club on April 15 and 16. The Boys and Girls Club of Bowling Green has been a vital part of our community since 1950. The club provides a safe and positive place for kids to spend during the most vulnerable times of day.

Boys and Girls Club is a proud partner of United Way of Southern Kentucky and WHAS Crusade for Children. Each year, this event provides crucial additional funding to continue the impact they are making in Bowling Green. This year, Houchens Industries donation of $170,500 will allow them to continue growing the numbers of kids they serve and improve and expand the space they have to serve them in. For more information on Boys and Girls Club of Bowling Green, visit their website or call 270-781-3549.
