Co-owners Lisa Marshall and Natalie Hughes personally select each piece in the showroom, creating a layered, collected aesthetic that feels both timeless and distinctive. “At Embellish, it’s about more than just beautiful items,” Natalie explains. “We want every customer to feel completely at home in our space, free to explore, gather inspiration and have meaningful conversations about turning their house into something truly personal.” The shop offers a full range of services, working one on one with clients from initial concept to final styling. Whether it’s a new build, a renovation or simply refreshing a single room, Embellish provides access to a wide selection of furniture, rugs, lighting, art and accessories. For those seeking something smaller, the store also features a carefully chosen assortment of unique gifts and seasonal décor. Lisa and Natalie opened Embellish Home in September 2016 after collaborating on a local retail design project. During that experience, they discovered a shared vision, Lisa’s dream of owning a home décor store and Natalie’s desire to create a boutique shopping experience in Bowling Green. Their complementary strengths have since shaped a business that feels both refined and welcoming. Since opening, Embellish Home has completed numerous design projects throughout the local community, furnishing homes of all styles and sizes. Their work is known for its attention to detail and personalized approach, and clients consistently express how thrilled they are with the finished results, spaces that feel both functional and beautifully reflective of their lives. In 2024, Embellish Home earned widespread recognition during the local Parade of Homes, sweeping every award category including the prestigious “Best Interior Design.” The achievement reflects both their creative vision and their commitment to excellence.
