Young, who has been co-owner for the past three years alongside business partner Steve Harlan, continues the company’s strong tradition in residential construction. For this particular home, the clients were especially close to Young—they’re his parents. That personal connection made the process all the more meaningful. Working with Broadway Builders’ in-house designer, Young collaborated closely with his parents to bring their vision to life, blending elements from previous company plans with new ideas designed specifically for their needs.

“The overall design we were going for was a European feel—light, airy and welcoming,” Young explains. The result is a home that feels timeless and inviting while maintaining a sense of sophistication. Spanning roughly 2,650 square feet, the home features three bedrooms and two and a half baths, with a layout that balances beauty and functionality.

Functionality was especially important to the homeowners. They wanted a home that was not only beautiful but practical—an original design that would serve as their forever home. Key features like a deluxe pantry and an inviting outdoor living space make the home ideal for everyday comfort and entertaining alike.

While the process went smoothly from start to finish, one feature stands out most to Young—the home’s exterior. “I love the curb appeal,” he says. “The curved driveway that leads to the front door gives it a balanced look that feels really welcoming.”

The location itself couldn’t be more perfect. Nestled just close enough to town for convenience yet offering that peaceful, hometown feel, the setting provides the best of both worlds. As the holiday season approaches, the family is especially excited to see the home filled with warmth, laughter and loved ones—a fitting start to many seasons of memories ahead.
