VIP Profile: Justin Perry
Story By: Aubrey Reynolds
Growth has always been rooted in connection. Whether on the golf course or in the real estate world, every chapter of this journey reflects those relationships—just ask Justin Perry. Justin grew up in Franklin, Kentucky and graduated from Franklin-Simpson High School in 2004. Although he was born in Florida, his family moved back to Kentucky when he was just two years old. After high school, Justin attended Lipscomb University where he played collegiate golf for one year before transferring to Western Kentucky University. He continued his golf career at WKU for three years and graduated in 2008. Golf played a significant role in Justin’s early professional life as well. After college, he spent nearly two years caddying for his father on the PGA Tour, an experience that allowed him to travel and gain a unique perspective on discipline and performance. Following that chapter, he worked in sports management before ultimately finding his way into real estate. He earned his real estate license in 2013, launching what would become a thriving career. Married since 2012, Justin and his wife Brittany have spent more than a decade building a life together. They are raising three children: Carver, 10, Parks, 7 and Steller, 4. Family life remains a top priority. Their family loves to travel, spend time golfing and enjoying days at Olde Stone. Brittany and Justin also attend Living Hope Baptist Church together and cherish family vacations to Disney and the beach. When asked what he loves most about real estate, Justin’s answer is simple: people. “The relationships,” he shares. “Every deal is different, and I enjoy meeting people.” His business is built entirely on referrals and personal connections, a testament to the trust he has established within the community. Professionally, 2024 marked a milestone year for Justin. He finished as the number one agent in both the Realtor Association of Southern Kentucky and Coldwell Banker in Kentucky, making it the strongest year of his career. While the accolades are impressive, Justin remains grounded, crediting hard work and consistency as the foundation of his success. On a personal level, one of his proudest accomplishments was qualifying for the USGA Mid-Amateur tournament. As a lifelong golfer, reaching that level of competition was a meaningful achievement. Justin credits two major influences in his life. Personally, his dad has played a significant role in shaping who he is today. Professionally, Jim “Scotty” Scott has been instrumental. Scotty provided Justin with an opportunity at Olde Stone, helping him grow his career and expand his network. “He gave me my big opportunity,” Justin shares. Through dedication, authenticity and a people first approach, Justin continues to make an impact both professionally and personally. Whether guiding clients through major life decisions or spending quality time with his family, his focus remains the same: building meaningful relationships and making the most of every opportunity.
