Local Music Venue Unveiled 2,000+ FT2 Treehouse/Season Opening Show

The Grove: Outdoor Venue & Drinkery, a local music venue in Glasgow, Kentucky, kicked off their first show of 2024 on Satuday, April 20th featuring Town Mountain and Brother Smith, and unveiled a new addition to the venue!

REALTOR® Association Welcomes New CEO

Members of the REALTOR® Association of Southern Kentucky are proud to announce their new Chief Executive Officer, Steve Denney.

Denney is a Bowling Green native, a graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended Western Kentucky University. He has served in the real estate industry for 20 years. Before accepting this position, Steve led the Henderson Audubon Board of REALTORS® as their CEO.

Kentucky’s top community and technical college students have been selected for the KentuckyCommunity and Technical College System’s (KCTCS) 2024 All-Academic Team. Studentsfrom each of the 16 KCTCS colleges were chosen based on a rigorous selection process that focuses on academic performance and community service.

Madeline Simms graduated from WKU with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2018, and found her home at Rich Pond shortly after and has been there ever since. She isgoing into her sixth year of teaching second grade. She is proud to serve on her school’s Site Based Decision Making Council as well.

Bob and Jackie Browning spent 53 years of marriage collecting beautiful pieces of furniture and artwork to furnish the various homes they lived in throughout the Southeast. But, this past year, when it came time to retire and move to Bowling Green to be near family, they decided to get rid of all of their possessions and start from scratch in their new home.

Pre-Derby Gala

On Friday, April 24th, Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky hosted their 5th Annual Pre-Derby  Gala at La Gala in Downtown Bowling Green. A huge crowd filled the space for a Kentucky Derby themed night with the community in support of the Mission of DSSKY.

Southern Living Once Again Lists BG As One of the "South's Best Cities On The Rise"

Southern Living announced the results of their annual, reader-selected listicle for the “South’s Best Cities on the Rise 2024” where Bowling Green placed seventh out of 25 cities. This is the second time Bowling Green has made headlines as a “South’s Best Cities on the Rise” with Southern Living, a leading regional media outlet specializing in southern culture, traditions and stories.

Rev Up for the 150th Derby with a Different Kind of Horsepower

The National Corvette Museum and NCM Motorsports Park located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, will serve as the pace car for Derby fun starting on April 22nd with the introduction of their “Horsepower Experience.” On select dates in April and May, the derby-themed experience will provide Derbygoers a type of racing with more of a throaty growl, and can be enjoyed before or after the Derby’s Sesquicentennial.
